Mathew Thornton makes music. You have heard his work on television, radio, the web, in films and on CDs. He has had a long and successful career as a studio musician, writer and arranger of a very wide range of music, from the Saturday morning cartoons of Kelloggs Rice Krispies and Froot Loops, the slammin’ rock of car spots and chain saw commercials and the sublime orchestral passages associated with hospitals and medical research labs.
He’s won a host of awards for film and commercial scoring, including a People’s Choice Award, and most recently an Indie-Fest prize for the documentary film Sjaak the World.
NEWS: T~Bird just finished an album with artist Cyndie Randall. Cyndie writes penetrating songs from a modern Christian point of view, and plays and sings them with the verve and explosive talent that reminds us of Fiona Apple and Tori Amos. Look for this new album, entitled 'Inside' online in the coming weeks.
